    WAXAHACHIE – The Ellis County African American Hall of Fame Museum and Library held its annual induction in early 2026, honoring several community members, including Tommy Scott of Ferris, on Saturday, Feb. 28.

    Scott serves as the Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Ferris.
