WAXAHACHIE – Award-winning oil painter Lynn LaRose will present a live painting demonstration open to the public in Waxahachie at the monthly meeting of The Ellis County Art Association.
She has earned top awards in Paint Historic Waxahachie and was commissioned to create a 2023 Christmas ornament for the Texas House of Representatives.
The meeting is March 2 at First Baptist Church of Waxahachie (450 US287 BYP).
LaRose is a professional artist based in Maypearl, known for oil paintings that depict American Indian, cowboy and Southern landscape themes.
The meeting at FBC is open to everyone and begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments and socializing. Announcements and business will start at 6:30 and the Demo will begin at 6:45 p.m.
It is free to attend and the public is invited.
