ENNIS – One Ennis ISD student recently made history when she took part in the Texas FFA State Contest.

Macy Dudley became the first Creed Speaker in Ennis FFA history to advance to the Texas FFA State Contest.

She was also the first Ennis student in 13 years to reach the state level in a leadership development event.

The Ennis ISD FFA group description emphasizes the positive difference it makes in the lives of students “by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.”

Although Dudley did not advance to the finals round, her accomplishment was nothing short of extraordinary while representing Ennis FFA.

It was stated, “She set a new standard of excellence for our chapter and made her community incredibly proud. We are so excited to watch her journey over the next two years. This is only the beginning, and we know she is destined for amazing things.”
