Train tracks near Alma City Hall a concern

ALMA – Alma Mayor Renee Jones told residents on her Facebook page, the ongoing issues with the train tracks located near City Hall is being addressed.

She acknowledged the “poor quality of the recent repairs.”

Alma residents have been concerned regarding the train tracks for some time.  Johnson said she has been in touch with the rail company and her calls have been escalated to the Senior Director in charge.

“I’m pushing for a real, long-term fix this time – not just another patch job,” Johnson said.

Updates will be posted as soon as possible with Johnson concluding, “Our community deserves better, and I’m going to keep working on it until it’s done right.”
