The 18th annual Paint Historic Waxahachie Plein Air Paint Out is now accepting artist entries, with the deadline extended to Nov. 1.
This highly anticipated event offers over $8,000 in cash prizes, merchandise and art supplies to winners.
Artists interested in participating can register online at www.onlinejuriedshows.com. Early registrants can join a pre-painting period from Oct. 4-Nov. 6, which includes painting locations throughout Ellis County. The official Paint Historic Waxahachie event will take place from Nov. 7-13.
Each artist may submit up to five paintings, all of which must be available for purchase. The artworks will be exhibited for public viewing on Nov.15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Women’s Building in Waxahachie.
