Nichirin, established in 1914, provides light automotive and truck parts in Japan, and desired to establish a market in the heavy truck market here in the United States – which is ATCO’s primary business in America.
Nichirin Atco’s 150 employees gathered outside the plant with company executive officers Hiroyuki Soga, president/group CEO visiting from Japan, Michael Ferguson, COO, Satoshi Santoku, CEO, and Patricia Brown, GM.
Atco was established in Ferris in 1967, and was acquired by Nichirin in May of this year.
