ELLIS COUNTY – At this week’s Ellis County Commissioners Court meeting, new Ellis County Judge John Wray was at the helm for the first time in his new role.
The typical financial, purchasing and development items were part of the agenda.
Under administrative items, the commissioners were asked to the accept a letter by Kevin Kosoris at Wray, Willett, Stoffer, Kosoris Lawyers PLLC ending his legal representation with the county.
Kosoris worked for Ellis County on real estate matters.
The resignation was due to the fact Kosoris is a partner with Wray in his law firm.
There was one item he was currently working on with Ellis County regarding a ground lease with TFC/TJJC.
