ITALY – Ellis County Sheriff Brad Norman took park in dedicating a mural last week in Italy, Texas.
The mural is located on the side of Italy City Hall and honors First Responders.
Landrie Reeves, a sixth grade student at Stafford Elementary, was the mural artist winner.
Reeves was chosen from a group of students who participated in a contest for the best First Responder drawing.
Her drawing portraying police, fire, EMA and dispatch was the winning drawing from the competition that is now portrayed in Italy’s downtown.
