RED OAK – An investigation is still underway after last week’s discovery of an infant found on a Red Oak garbage route according to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, Nov. 21, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a call from local sanitation employees advising while on their garbage route they found a deceased baby in the 1300 block of Saint Andrews Drive, a press release indicated.
The Ellis County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division arrived on the scene and confirmed the report.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available.
