FERRIS – Mellanie Cain, chair of the American Indians Committee for the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and chair for CCNT Membership and Outreach, collaborated with Ferris Mayor Fred Pontley, to officially proclaim November as National American Indian Heritage Month in Ferris.
They urge all citizens to observe this month with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.
