MIDLOTHIAN – Dayshun Reese-Williams had 171 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Cedar Hill over Midlothian 40-7 at Midlothian ISD Stadium.
Reese-Williams scored on a 48-yard run to put Cedar Hill (1-0) on the scoreboard. Tamarion Crochett had 143 yards passing and two touchdowns.
Jayce McCoy scored on a 96-yard kickoff return for Midlothian (0-1) just before the end of the first half.
Juelz Carter had 88 yards rushing and one touchdown as Cedar Hill would amass more than 300 yards on the ground.
The defense held Midlothian to 161 yards total offense while forcing two turnovers.
