ELLIS COUNTY – Two run-off elections are coming up, the first for the District Judge 443rd seat is May 28th.
Candidate’s Greg Wilhelm and Grace Pandithurai will face one another in primary run-off with early voting beginning Monday, May 20 to May 24.
Wilhelm had garnered the highest vote count in the election, but neither he nor Pandithurai received over 50% of the vote in order to win the election.

The May elections earlier this month for local seats will also require two run-off election, which will be held on June 15.
On the ballot is the Midlothian City Place 6 seat with incumbent Hud Hartson facing off against challenger Wayne Shuffield.
Also, on the June run-off ballot is Beverly Gatlin and Paula Baucum vying for the Ellis Appraisal District Place 1 seat.
