WAXAHACHIE – An item to install stop signs on Woodstream Road at the intersection of Springwood Lane creating an all-way stop was approved at last week’s Ellis County Commissioner’s Court.
The request was made by the HOA manager from a neighboring subdivision. The HOA requested the stop signs due to new development in an effort to slow traffic down.
One person spoke on behalf of installing the signs during the public hearing.
Commissioner Kyle Butler, pct. 4, said he believed the stop signs are needed and made the motion to approve the installation. Commissioner Lane Grayson, pct. 2, seconded the item.
The vote passed 4-0.
