PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL
City of Wilmer, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will conduct a public hearing to discuss and consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding an amendment to the City of Wilmer Community Plan 2030, adopted June 18, 2009, Ord. No. 09-0618, specifically to amend the Thoroughfare Plan, Exhibit A-3, to realign Lavender Road and reclassify as a Collector; to maintain the existing route for Mason Road and reclassify as a Minor Arterial; and reclassify Van Road as a Collector, in order to facilitate development in the vicinity and improve traffic flow and safety. (Case No. M-24-01)
The first public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer Planning & Zoning Commission on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.
A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
