The following local students recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines: Everett Allen of Red Oak (University of Lynchburg), Elizabeth Haralson of Stillwater (Oklahoma State University), Lauren Sims of Ovilla (Texas A&M University) and Alejandra Velasco of Ferris (University of Texas at Tyler).
