WILMER – Last Wednesday, area internet and cell phone service was interrupted from 8 a.m. to the following day at 1 a.m. due to a construction mishap.
According to sources, an out-of-town construction crew working on a new development in the city of Wilmer ripped up 600 feet of fiber and communications lines.
Verizon, TMobile and Rise were all impacted by the mishap.
