Two area students were awarded scholarships to Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. Daryn Carruthers of Midlothian, a senior at Grace Preparatory Academy, was awarded the President Scholarship, a $13,000 per year scholarship. Briley Green of Waxahachie, a senior at Midlothian High School, also was awarded the Hilltop Scholarship, a $10,500 per year scholarship.
Gricelda Sardina of Ennis was one of nearly 250 University of Dallas undergraduate students named to the spring 2020 Honor Roll for earning a semester GPA of 3.0-3.49. Anamarie Garcia of Waxahachie and Sean Jurek of Red Oak were named to the spring 2020 Dean’s List for earning a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.
