OBITUARY: Robert Bruce Raeburn

Robert Bruce Raeburn, MSgt, USAF, Retired, Red Oak, Texas, passed away April 18, 2020 after a short aggressive battle with melanoma cancer.

Born October 17, 1959, he entered the Air Force in 1977 upon graduation from Commack HS South, Long Island, New York.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Chisholm Raeburn, and grandparents, Alexander and Margaret (Mackensie) Raeburn and John and Margaret (McGurn) Goulding. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tamela; his mother, Rita; children Joshua, Jessica, Brandon; grandsons Jude, Simon; siblings Carol, Brian, Sandy.

Bob’s love of airplanes took him from Air Force bases in Japan and the Philippines to US airlines coast to coast, to Southwest Airlines. His greatest enjoyments were riding his Harley, a good cigar, Jameson, and being a rancher.

Due to COVID19 restrictions, no funeral was held. Memorial Services to be announced.
