FERRIS – If you haven’t been watching ECP-TV’s latest shows at both our Facebook page as well as the ECP-TV YouTube Channel, be sure and see what we have going on there.

This week on “Politics and How it Affects You,” Ellis County Judge Todd Little talks about his latest shelter-in-place order for Ellis County.

Judge Little also talks about the definition of both essential and non-essential businesses, and said he is following the rules mandated by the state regarding the definition.

Judge Little also discussed why he decided to declare the disaster declaration – even with no COVID-19 cases yet when he made the declaration. Since that time, there have been two deaths and 71 cases of confirmed COVID-19 since last Friday.

Also, as the Ellis County Emergency Management Director, Judge Little’s decision for Ellis County to shelter-in-place came at a time when it was stricter than Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order. In this interview the judge explains why.

Waxahachie’s own attorney Rodney Ramsey appears this week on “Politics and How it Affects You,” discussing government mandates – are they constitutional?

Ramsey says “no,” while he discusses the overall reach of Texas’ Governor Greg Abbott and how he has possibly violated constitutional rights by suspending laws during his emergency declarations.

“Who is controlling the narrative,” Ramsey asked while he explained the difference between flattening the curve versus the bell curve for people in the United States and around the world.

Ellis County Sheriff Chuck Edge is a hit with viewers as he talks about shelter-in-place this week and how his department has been charged with keeping the order in place.

“We can’t stop anyone without probable cause,” he said.

ECP-TV cohost Rita Cook talks about world government and conspiracies with former Army Sergeant Joshua Galbreath. In an interesting show that discusses why and how COVID-19 got so dangerous so fast, Galbreath and Cook also back and forth about why a world government scenario is a hard shell to crack – or is it?

ECP-TV’s Cook and cohost Tommy Scott interview our international correspondent Guillaume de Vaudrey live from Paris, France as he moves into Paris’ third week of lockdown. Describing it as “like the occupation by the Germans in World War II,” French residents are required to have papers with them when they leave their home stating their business outdoors.

It was also mentioned the mail in France is down to running once a week, and packages are not delivered anymore. He knows because his packages have not arrived after weeks of waiting.

Cook also begins her “Behind the Wheel” series with the 2020 Mercedes GLB 250.

Described by Cook as a “fun vehicle to drive,” the Mercedes SUV is a happy vehicle with excellent gas mileage and plenty of room – translating into comfortable ride all around.
