ECP-TV raises the bar with politics and girl talk

FERRIS – If you have been watching Ellis County Press’s ECP-TV the last year, you know Tommy Scott and Rita Cook come to you each week with a rundown of what is going on in Ellis County and parts of Southern Dallas County.

Well, now there is even more to watch.

Rita Cook’s “Politics and how it affects you” really took off this season with the primary races in Ellis County. Cook had the chance to interview on her show just about all the candidates including the lone Libertarian, Matt Savino – running for a Texas State Representative seat as well as other candidates vying for that District 10 seat.

Also on the show she interviewed candidates for Ellis County DA, Ellis County Sheriff, County Commissioner Precinct 3 and the newly created Ellis County Court Law #3.

While several shows the news station put out to the public did not make the grade, such as “Pretty Girls Review” and “13 Strands of Pearls,” as viewers get more involved and tell ECP-TV what they want to see, ECP-TV is responding with new shows and ideas.

One new show now on Episode 3 is “Want do you want to know” with Rita Cook and Julissa Martinez, the latter a Waxahachie attorney running for Ellis County DA.

This show spans a variety of subjects and is poised to create viewer interaction as it evolves to serve the community.
