RED OAK – Red Oak police arrested 47-year-old Shawn Johnson this past week for three parole violation warrant arrests.
The charges out of Johnson County Sheriff’s Office included not only a warrant arrest for an intoxication manslaughter charge, but also two additional warrant arrests for intoxication assaults.
Lt. Marc Schroeder, Red Oak Police Department, said of the arrest, “It appears that Johnson County SO requested Red Oak PD personnel to attempt to locate the subject at his residence in Red Oak because of outstanding felony warrants out of the Johnson County Sherriff’s Office.”
Red Oak PD arrived at Johnson’s address in the 200 block of Sperry Lane and took the subject into custody.
The arrest occurred Dec. 27 at around 8:38 p.m. for the outstanding warrants without incident.
