Patrolman Harry Marvin “Marty” Steinfeldt was killed in the line of duty on Oct. 6, 2002.
Attending a memorial service on Sunday, Oct. 6 were former Chief Jeff Cottongame and family, Lieutenant Sherman Swafford, Epi Garfias, the Crossland family, Rosie Garfias and family, Joe Alejandro, Jay Walsh, Patsy Benner and Chief John Zaidle.
Attendees were reportedly disappointed because there were faded flowers and no wreath at the site.
