DALLAS – On Sunday, Oct. 20, Sokol Dallas will be celebrating Heritage Day.
The event, presented by The American Czech Slovak Culture Society and its member societies SPJST, Sokol, WFLA, KJT, KJZT, RVOS, and Vaclav Havel Czech School of Dallas will be held at 7448 Greenville Ave., in Dallas.
Beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing to 6 p.m., entertainment will be provided all day.
SCHEDULE
11 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies with Dallas Czech Orchestra
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Traditional Czech Dinner - $15 per plate
11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Muzacke Sbory Charvatcane, a Valtican folklore band from the Czech Republic
• Beseda Dancers
• Folk Dancers
• Czech School of Dallas Children’s
Performance
• Sokol Gymnastics Exhibition
3 to 6 p.m. – A Live Band for your dancing pleasure
