FERRIS – On Sunday, at approximately 9:25 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to a one vehicle crash on FM 660.
Preliminary investigation showed a black 1997 Lexus passenger vehicle was traveling south on FM 660.
Then, for an as of yet undetermined reason, the driver of the Lexus lost control of the vehicle causing it to drive off the roadway and strike the porch of a mobile home.
The driver, 18 year-old Alissa Rogers of Ennis, was flown by CareFlite to Baylor Hospital, in Dallas, with serious injuries.
The investigation was on-going and there was no other information available at this time.
