WILMER – The City of Wilmer is excited to invite residents and visitors to Pioneer Days, a two-day celebration of community pride and progress taking place Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25, from noon to 11 p.m. at 128 N. Dallas Avenue.
This year’s event holds special meaning as Wilmer celebrates 80 years since becoming an incorporated city.
Pioneer Days promises something for everyone, from free carnival rides and delicious food trucks to DJ entertainment.
Guests can enjoy great food, family friendly fun, and an atmosphere that celebrates the heart and spirit of Wilmer.
“Pioneer Days is more than a festival. It is a celebration of our city’s past, present, and future,” said Mayor Sheila Petta.
“As we mark 80 years since Wilmer became an incorporated city, it is a time for neighbors to come together, enjoy one another, and take pride in all that makes Wilmer such a special place to live.”
