WAXAHACHIE – The City of Waxahachie has created a new tracking device enabling residents and interested parties in tracking valuable information pertaining to development cases, single-family homes, apartments, active commercial projects, and associated maps and data.
The site to access this information is https://waxahachie-development-tracker-waxgis.hub.arcgis.com.
The city’s Facebook touted the new tool “Our amazing GIS team has been hard at work creating a new resource for our community.”
The development tracker currently indicates there are 157 development cases in 2025; 1,019 vacant single-family lots; 400 apartment units approved in 2025 and 21 active commercial projects in Waxahachie.
