WAXHACHIE – First responders in Waxahachie are mourning the loss of one of their own, Pump Engineer/Inspector Kevin Lindsey who passed away last week.
Lindsey died while off-duty leaving not only Waxahachie Fire-Rescue, but also the Waxahachie Police Department with heavy hearts.
A Waxahachie PD Facebook post read, “A special bond forms between the first responders who serve together in a city, and as our brothers and sisters from the Waxahachie Fire Department grieve the loss of a great man, we grieve along with them.
“Those calls will not be the same without Kevin there. He was special.
“Our hearts are broken today for Kevin’s family. Our thoughts are with you during this unbelievably difficult time, and we continue to pray for you.”
