DALLAS – In conjunction with the direct-connector ramp rehabilitation project at Interstate 45 at Interstate 20, the Texas Department of Transportation has requested various lane closures to work through the demolition and reconstruction of each ramp.
Theseclosuresarenotintended to take place at the same time, but are being requested in an effort to open and close the roadways and ramps as the project dictates.

NIGHTTIME CLOSURES
• Friday, Nov. 15 through Saturday, Nov. 16 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
• Full closure I-20 westbound from west of I-45 to east of I-45 Saturday, Nov. 16 through Sunday, Nov. 17 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
• Full closure on I-45 northbound from south of I-20 to north of I-20 Sunday, Nov. 17 through Monday, Nov. 18 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Full closure I-20 eastbound from west of I-45 to east of I-45
LONG-TERM CLOSURES
• Tuesday, Nov. 12 through Tuesday, Dec. 17
• I-45 southbound to I-20 eastbound direct connector ramp full closure
There will be other alternating 2 and 3 lane closures scheduled near the intersection as determined by the contractor from Friday, Nov. 15 to Monday, Nov. 18.
Detours will be marked to assist with traffic control.
More information regarding future ramp and lane closures will follow at a later date. Backups are expectedand motoristsareencouraged to seek alternate routes.
