TXDot road closure alert for I-35, Ovilla Overpass April 4-5

From 9 p.m. April 4 to 12 p.m. April 5, 2025, TXDot will be closing I-35, the north and southbound service roads, and the Ovilla Overpass for partial bridge demolition.

During this closure, traffic will be rerouted through the Ovilla Road jug handles and can re-enter I-35 at the next available on-ramp.

Expect heavy delays and, if possible, avoid the area and plan an alternate route.
