WAXAHACHIE – The Tom Thumb in Waxahachie finally opened its doors a few weeks ago to great fanfare with food demos, give aways, and amazing sales.
The Waxahachie High School band, cheer team and drill team opened the grand opening followed by a ribbon cutting and opening remarks.
The new store is located at 1940 N. US Highway 77 in Waxahachie, and broke ground last summer.
The store is 59,000 square-feet and complete with bakery, deli, meat and seafood, produce and floral departments.
The store also has an in-store Starbucks coffee kiosk, a pharmacy including drive-thru, and grocery pickup.
