GLENN HEIGHTS – The southbound lanes of I-35 were snarled in the early morning hours on Feb. 26 due to a fatality accident in the 1500 block of I-35E at Parkerville Road in Glenn Heights.
The accident happened around 2:40 a.m. when the driver of a southbound semi-truck struck a man that was walking in the center lane.
Glenn Heights Police said, “We are still investigating why he (pedestrian) was walking in the middle of the highway.”
Police said the truck driver is fully cooperating, and no charges are expected to be filed.
No name was released as to the identity of the deceased male.
