RED OAK – The body of 51-year-old Estean Freeman Jr., of Red Oak was found Tuesday, Feb. 5 in Lake Waxahachie.
On Feb. 4, the Red Oak Police Department released a Missing Person Endangered Press Release in an attempt to locate Freeman, who was reported missing after leaving his residence on Saturday, Feb. 2, in his black Nissan Sentra and failing to return. Mr. Freeman had a medical condition that required medication, and was described as a 51-year-old black male, 6 ft tall, 225 with black hair and brown eyes.
After an extensive search to locate Freeman, Red Oak Police Department Investigators were notified by the Waxahachie Police Department that their investigators had recovered Freeman’s body from Lake Waxahachie.
Red Oak Police Department investigators responded to the location and confirmed the victim to be Estean Freeman, Jr.
There were no apparent signs of injury to suggest foul play, Freeman was transported to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death. Waxahachie Police Department will be conducting the death investigation.
