OVILLA – The Ovilla Chamber of Commerce announced its official launch and the enrollment of its first members this past week.

Founded in 2025, the Chamber is already making history by bringing together businesses of all sizes; from corporations and small shops to independent contractors, farms, ranches and homesteads.

“Although Ovilla is small and quaint, it holds a unique place as the second oldest city in Ellis County and is centrally located among several growing communities,” said Sara Mires, president of the Ovilla Chamber of Commerce.

“Ovilla has such a unique mix of neighborhoods new and old, plus various sized farms and ranches. This makes it the perfect hub to connect diverse industries and neighboring cities under one Chamber umbrella.

“Our goal is to support, uplift and add to the already amazing Ovilla community. We want this Chamber to feel like home to everyone – starting with our community of Ovilla business owners and residents and building on to that while doing some very cool community events.

“Independent business owners to large regional companies. By uniting different voices, we can create fresh opportunities for real engagement, collaboration and growth.”

The Chamber is currently preparing for its first Members’ Mixer & Launch Party, where members will have the opportunity to connect, celebrate and help shape the Chamber’s future. For membership information and upcoming events, visit www.ovillachamber.com.
