Old Brickyard Golf Club, located in Ferris, voted best golf course in Ellis County

FERRIS – The Old Brickyard Golf Club is carved out of the old site of the Ferris Brick Co., designed around three quarries dug out by the old brick company and is known for its scenic views, elevation changes and a unique layout.

Melvin L. has played golf for 20 years and works at Old Brickyard, finds the course unique and rewarding while emphasizing his love of the game.

He describes the course as tactical and challenging, requiring strategic placement and a strong mental focus, but anyone with all types of abilities will enjoy the course.
