MIDLOTHIAN – The Midlothian Police are investigating the aggravated sexual assault of a child with multiple additional offenses also involved.

Patrol officers in Midlothian were dispatched to an address on Wed., Dec. 17, to investigate a report of a potential sexual assault involving a child.

30-year-old Madison Paige Jones was arrested after the initial investigation and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child along with multiple additional related offenses.

Her bond was set at $90,000, and she has since been released from the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Waxahachie.

A second suspect was arrested on Dec. 23, Zackery Dondlinger, a 37-year-old man from Happy, Texas after detectives with Midlothian’s Criminal Investigation Division continued the investigation.

Dondlinger was arrested in Loving County and charged with sexual performance by a child.

Dondlinger is  currently being held at the Winkler County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.

“The Midlothian Police Department extends its gratitude to the Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center for their assistance, as well as the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Office of the Attorney General- Fugitive Apprehension Unit, and the Loving County Sheriff’s Office for their support in locating and apprehending Dondlinger,” a press release from Midlothian PD stated.
