MIDLOTHIAN – Midlothian Assistant Police Chief Scott Brown confirmed late last week that the death investigation in the 5600 Block of Montana Drive had been in reference to a 911 call related to an unresponsive person.
The call came in at approximately 6:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17.
“The call to 911 indicated that a female at that location was not breathing,” Brown said.
“Upon arrival, medical personnel determined a 25-year-old female was deceased.
“At this time, it appears she was the victim of a narcotics overdose, but the case remains open.”
Investigators are awaiting a conclusive toxicology report before additional details can be reported.
The name of the woman was not released until next of kin could be confirmed.
Midlothian Police and Midlothian Fire/Medical personnel worked the scene throughout the afternoon.
