GLENN HEIGHTS — The City of Glenn Heights announced Councilmember Travis Bruton has received formal recognition from Texas Municipal League President Allison Heyward for his dedicated service on the TML State Legislative Committee.
Bruton served alongside municipal leaders from across Texas, helping shape legislative priorities that support cities statewide.
His contributions focused on strengthening local governance, protecting municipal authority, and improving outcomes for Texas communities.
Heyward expressed her appreciation for Bruton’s leadership, stating “Thank you for your passion and commitment on the TML Legislative Committee.
“Serving alongside you was an honor, and I’ll always treasure the time we worked side by side.
“Your hard work uplifted Texas cities and left a lasting impact on them.”
Bruton said he was humbled by the recognition and proud to represent Glenn Heights on a statewide platform.
“It has been a privilege to serve on the TML Legislative Committee and work with leaders who are deeply committed to improving the quality of life in cities across Texas,” Bruton added.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring Glenn Heights’ voice to the table and help advance initiatives that benefit communities like ours.”
TML, which serves more than 1,100 member cities, plays a critical role in advocating for local government interests at the state level. Bruton’s service reflects the City of Glenn Heights’ ongoing commitment to public service, civic leadership, and statewide collaboration.
