Ferris HS senior LaDamian Blue made history on Thursday, March 21, by breaking the FHS shot-put record during a track meet held at Ferris High School.
Blue’s throw of 46 feet, 7 inches surpassed the previous record of 45 feet, 11 inches, set by Xavier Gipson in 2021.
Congratulations to Mr. Blue on his impressive feat and to Coach Wallace for his guidance.
