Arrest made in lewd activity at Waxahachie Creek Hike & Bike Trail

WAXAHACHIE – According to the Waxahachie Police Department FB page, an arrest was made regarding a report of lewd activity at Waxahachie Creek Hike and Bike Trail. 

The Waxahachie Police Department had also issued extra patrols in the area after the report.

Police encourage all residents using any parks to always remain vigilant.

Also advised by police are safety protocols that should be part of trail and park safety:

• Use the buddy system;

• Remain on the trial;

• Only use the trail during daylight hours;

• Always be aware of your surroundings;

• Share your plans with a family member or friend.
