ENNIS – VFW Post 7106 announced Ferris senior Aiden Hunter has been recognized for his outstanding achievement in the Voice of Democracy program.
Presented with the Voice of Democracy Award by Post Commander Boyd Smith and Post Adjutant Gilbert Wulff, Aiden received a monetary award of $500.
He further distinguished himself by winning the 1st place VOD award at the district level and placing at the State level.
The VFW Auxiliary generously contributed an additional $150, bringing Aiden’s total award to $650. Aiden will be continuing his education at Texas A&M in the spring of 2024.
