PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL

City of Wilmer, Texas

In accordance with Chapter 212.015 of the Texas Local Government Code of the City of Wilmer, Texas, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council will conduct public hearings to consider a request to replat a residential lot into two lots of record in order to build an additional home, being located at 215 Second Street, Wilmer, Texas 75172, and being further described as Lot 6, Block 2, J. W. Johnsons Addition, and being situated in the A.K. Gray Survey, Abstract No. 505, City of Wilmer, Dallas County, Texas. 

(Note: this hearing is being re-noticed due to an error in the previous notice)

The first public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this replat request will be held before the Wilmer Planning & Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

Important Notice Regarding Public Participation at Public Meetings:  Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) public health emergency, and in an effort to reduce face-to-face contact, Governor Greg Abbott has granted a temporary suspension of certain provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act.  

While preserving government transparency and maintaining government operations, the Planning and Zoning and City Council Meetings will be conducted by teleconference.
