City of Wilmer, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold public hearings to consider a request to rezone the subject property from Single-Family-1 (SF-1) to Planned Development (PD) for residential uses. The subject property being described as a certain parcel situated in the Charles A. Warfield Survey, Abstract No. 1612 and the Jeff Weatherford Survey, Abstract No.1536, Dallas County, Texas; said tracts being further described as a 33.993-acre Tract I and all of a called 6.914-acre tract of land described as Tract II in the Warranty Deed with Vendor’s Lien to Pedro Guerro recorded in Volume 20011252, Page 11374, Deed Records, Dallas County, Texas (DRDCT), City of Wilmer ETJ, Dallas County, Texas. Case No. ZC-21-06
The first public hearing on this annexation request will be held before the Wilmer Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
Important Notice Regarding Public Participation at Public Meetings: The City will implement 6-foot social distancing for those in attendance. The City reserves the right to take temperatures of those wanting to attend and recommend attendees wear face masks, subject to the Attorney General Order GA-034. The City reserves the right to deny public access to the meeting for the safety of its citizens, elected officials, and staff.
