NOTICE OF

the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas


In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas, will hold a public hearing to consider the following items:

In accordance with Chapter 43 of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will consider and take action on a request initiated by Justin Christ for an Annexation of a 59.092-acre tract within the E S Miller Survey, Abstract 736, generally located 1400 feet northwest of the intersection of Ferris Road and FM 664, in the City of Ferris ETJ, Ellis County, Texas, 75125, ECAD ID#188058.  

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a public hearing to consider and take action on a request initiated by Justin Christ for a rezoning to allow a Planned Development on a 59.092-acre tract within the E S Miller Survey, Abstract 736, generally located 1400 feet northwest of the intersection of Ferris Road and FM 664, Ellis County, City of Ferris, Texas, 75125, ECAD ID#188058.

The public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on these requests will be held before the City Council on Monday, August 18th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic Scout House, located at 514 South Mable Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.

All interested in the proposed requests are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.  Comments may also be submitted in writing (or via fax or email) to the City at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the joint public hearing at the following address:
