PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL
City of Wilmer, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will conduct a public hearing to consider the request of Paul Marsh, applicant, for a Conditional Use Permit for Crete Carrier Corporation, property owner, to continue to operate as a “Motor Freight (Trucking) Company” within the I1, Light Industrial zoning and Highway Corridor Overlay. The subject property is located at 400 East Pleasant Run Road, Dallas County, City of Wilmer, Texas, and is further described as Robert Sloan ABST 1271 PG 600, TR 7, ACS 35.2748. Case File CP-25-04.
The purpose of this request is to expand a legal nonconforming use by adding a 1,323 square foot accessory structure to the site. According to Section 24, Nonconforming Uses, of Wilmer’s Zoning Ordinance, expanding the legal nonconforming use will require a Conditional Use Permit.
The first public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer Planning & Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
