NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On the FY2027 Ellis County Budget


The Ellis County Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing on the Proposed FY2027 Budget on September 1st, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Historic Ellis County Courthouse, in the Commissioners’ Courtroom (2nd floor), 101 W. Main Street, Waxahachie, Texas.


This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $7,039,878, (7.93%), and of that amount $5,743,167 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
