NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2026, 7:00 P.M.
Public hearing to receive testimony regarding an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, adopting Standards of Care for Summer Youth Programs. The Youth Program Standards of Care are intended to be the minimum standards by which the City of Glenn Heights Parks and Recreation Department will operate its Day Camp programs that meet at least two hours a day, three or more days a week.
The programs operated by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department are recreational in nature and are not licensed by the State of Texas as certified daycare programs. These Standards of Care will be adopted by Ordinance after a Public Hearing has been conducted to receive feedback.
