Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday October 07, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 1938 South Hampton Road, Bldg. C, Glenn Heights, Texas, 75154, as prescribed by V.T.C.S., Government Code Section §551.041, to consider and possibly take action on the following:
Public hearing to receive testimony related to amending appendix A, the city’s master Fee schedule, of the code of ordinances, city of Glenn Heights, Texas, to adopt or revise Fees for Planning Department services (section A2.001), Building Inspection Department General Fees (section A3.001), Building Permit Fees (section A3.002), Rental Registration and Inspection Fees (section A3.003), Food Service Fees (sections A4.001 and A4.002), adding definitions relating to Food Service Fees, and requiring permits for garage sales; reauthorizing the city’s Building Permit Fees; providing that other fees not listed but now charged pursuant to other ordinances and resolutions shall remain in effect until transferred to the master fee schedule by amendment.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing to provide testimony or express comments regarding this Annexation request. If you cannot attend, you may submit comments in writing in support or opposition.
If approved, the annexation would extend the boundary limits of the City of Glenn Heights to include the above-described property and said property and its residents would be entitled to all rights, services, and privileges of other citizens of the City and would be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions, and regulations of the City.
