CAUSE NO. 21-G-1004
IN THE GUARDIANSHIP OF JUDITH COX, AN ALLEGED INCAPACITED PERSON
TO: ALL INTERESTED PERSONS
Stephen Crane in the County Court at Law No. 1 of Ellis County, Texas, on March 8, 2021, an APPLICATION FOR LETTERS OF GUARDIANSHIP requesting that Christy Johnson be appointed Guardian of the PERSON of JUDITH COX, an alleged incapacitated person.
The Court may act on said Application and any opposition at any call of the docket on or after 10 0’clock A.M. on the first Monday next after the expiration of 10 days from the date of service of this citation at the County Court at Law No. 1, 109 South Jackson, Waxahachie in Ellis County, Texas.
You are hereby cited to appear before this Honorable Court by filing a written contest or answer to said Application before the above stated time should you desire to do so.
To ensure its consideration, you or your attorney must file any objection, intervention, or response in writing with the County Clerk of Ellis County, Texas.
You are notified that you have the right under Texas Estates Code Sec. 1051.252 to file with the clerk a written request that you be notified of any or all specifically designated motions, applications, or pleadings filed by any person, or by a person specifically designated in your request, relating to the application for the guardianship that has been filed or relating to any subsequent guardianship proceeding involving the ward after the guardianship is created, if any. If you make such a request, you are responsible for the fees and costs associated with furnishing you the documents specified in the request.
The clerk may require a deposit to cover the estimated costs of furnishing you with the requested notice.
You are notified that, if you are a relative of the proposed ward as defined in Sec. 1051.103(a)(2) or (a)(4), and if a guardianship is created for the proposed ward, you must elect in writing in order to receive notice about the ward under Sec. 1151.056, Estates Code.
