FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (August 22, 2019)

The Ferris Public Library has audiobooks that your child can listen to as they read along with the book. This method helps some children who are auditory learners vs. visual. We also have adult audiobooks for your work commute or listening pleasure.

Ferris church burglarized

Thieves threw a brick though the entry door at the Covenant Church in Ferris around midnight Sunday, Aug. 18. A surveillance video showed two male suspects stealing a KORG and a YAMAHA keyboard, together valued at $4,000.

5,200-acre development planned for Ferris

FERRIS – The 5,200-acre Woodstone development is planned on the east side of Interstate 45 at Southcreek Ranch, according to Corey Ford of Tommy Ford Construction, which is working on the big housing development.

Red Oak girl competes in Karate Federation’s National Championships

CHICAGO, ILL – On Sunday, July 14, 15-year old-Red Oak resident Sarah Stallings competed in the United States National Karate Federation’s National Championships and Team Trials held in Chicago.
