After careful consideration by the executive board of directors, the Chamber has formally accepted a new lease offer, and created a formal lease agreement with Access Self Storage in Red Oak for a new office space at 561 E. Ovilla Rd., Red Oak.

Gov. Abbott says any city defunding police should have property taxes frozen forever

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Texas House Speaker Dennis Bonnen are in Fort Worth Tuesday to announce a proposal that would freeze property taxes in any city that defunds police. Austin City Council voted last week to cut police funding by a third to invest in social services.
